When dining out in Kenmare, you are quite simply spoilt for choice.  It is no surprise that Travel & Leisure Magazine declared Kenmare to be “a top notch gastronomic destination”.  And the best part is that there are options available to suit every budget.  You can experience fine dining in the Park Hotel or Sheen Falls Hotel.  In the town itself, Mulcahy’s Wild Garlic, Packies, and The Lime Tree are three superb restaurants.  A five minute drive from Kenmare, you will find the lovely Boathouse Winehouse & Bistro at Dromquinna Manor.  For seafood literally straight from the sea, head to Con’s Marina Bar & Restaurant. Also, meriting a mention is Whartons Traditional Fish and Chip Shop where you can either eat in or take away, should you prefer to dine in your cottage. And that’s not to forget about the numerous top quality gastropubs such as The Horseshoe and P. F. McCarthy’s. However, half the fun in Kenmare is finding your own favourite which we highly recommend you do!
